Around 240 workers are on site every day at this stage.
Concrete pouring on a large scale is continuing at One Central Park. Last week, 1500 cubic metres of concrete was poured, contributing to B1 and Lower Ground slabs.
The concrete pour for the lowest levels is complex, also involving structures for the Central retail precinct. Once this zone is poured, from mid July, the towers will 'jump' more rapidly.
The jump form - the protective walls which wrap the lift cores - are visible above ground level, and will soon rise rapidly skyward.
PARK LANE
Footings are now being sunk to the basement of Park Lane with concrete pads for the foundations now well underway.
CHIPPENDALE GREEN
Stage 1 & 2 infrastructure works, including works to surrounding roads and construction of the road which loops around Chippendale Green, are underway by Christies Civil. Traffic management plans have been prepared specific to these works, to minimise impacts on neighbours.
Appointment of the landscape contractor is imminent.
Frasers is awaiting finalisation of landscape details from the City of Sydney, which is delaying commencement of this stage of works. Consequently, the park is now likely to open in early 2012.
