You don’t need to leave Central Park to feel the electric thrill of urban life. Leading Australian architecture studio Tonkin Zulaikha Greer is carving out a Melbourne-style laneway on Kesington Street. Central Park’s zesty mix of heritage buildings and intimate new spaces will be bustling with cafes, galleries and design outlets.
A fitness club with pool, gym and spa will be open to all One Central Park residents.
At the foot of the residential tower is a naturally lit three floor retail mall that brings superior youth shopping and services to this urban village (think Tokyo with its layers of micro boutiques and quirky fashion outlets) serving locals and students alike with a creative hum that continues well into the evening.
The upper level is dedicated entirely to restaurants, animated cafes and terraces that link to Central Park below via a cascade of lushly planted steps.
